This page is the starting point for Ocsigen's documentation, and contains an overview of the various manuals and tutorials available. In broad terms, Ocsigen's documentation can be divided in two parts, according to the target audience:

User documentation
If you simply want to use Ocsigen as a web server to display static content, or if you are going to use pre-existing modules to generate dynamic content (such as Eliom modules, CGI scripts, PHP, etc).
Developer documentation
If you intend to create your own modules for dynamic content using Eliom, or if you want to create extensions to the Ocsigen server itself. This information presupposes that you are already comfortable configuring and launching Ocsigen, as described in the User documentation.

We suggest you advance linearly through the documentation. Each section is fairly self-contained, so it is okay to skip some sections if they are not directly related to your interests.
